Digital measurements of odors products in ppm by gas analyzers of the hydrocarbon chain
The development of a digital gas analyzer for odors based on hydrocarbon chain measurement is a breakthrough solution that addresses a long-standing technological gap in industries such as cosmetology, food production, and quality control. As of today, there are no compact or standardized devices that can objectively and digitally measure product odors in ppm (parts per million), especially in sensitive fields like creams, perfumes, essential oils, and nutraceuticals.
Most current methods rely on subjective human sensory evaluation, which is prone to error, fatigue, and inconsistency. Our project eliminates this limitation by introducing a certified, repeatable, and digital method of measuring volatile hydrocarbons, the core molecules responsible for most odors. We offer two device modifications: a stationary unit for laboratory or industrial use, and a miniaturized matchbox-sized unit ideal for mobile inspections, fieldwork, or in-line control.
Our proprietary system is based on three key hydrocarbon gases, one of which is CO₂ (carbon dioxide). Each gas has been calibrated with respect to temperature and humidity, ensuring high accuracy even in unstable conditions. The other two gases are proprietary and form part of our technical «know-how».
